Ferngrove - Chardonnay

There's Premium then there's super premium and this incredible wine is one for those special occasions. Not only less than 0.5g/l of sugar but the highest of quality in our white portoflio.
Frankland River is one of the coldest and the most isolated wine producing regions in Australia and as such, vintage takes place later than in other producing regions in Australia, with grapes harvested as late as May. This isolation brings with it lower temperatures and untouched soil and water reserves producing some of the purest wines in the southern hemisphere.

• Tasting Notes

  A core of delicious grapefruit and pear on the palate which is finely balanced with a creamy texture and a fine finish. The Oak is a prominent feature throughout the pallet and distinct on the nose which brings a silky and full bodied tasting experience. The Lower Sulphur and Sugar level isn't affecting the body or the pallet, but brings a tasteful difference to a Chardonnay lover.
