Two generations have been working together on this estate for almost twenty years.
Heidrun and Manfred Wolf had taken over their parents estate and now have passed
on the baton to their son, Claus Wolf and his wife Barbel who have both studied
oenology through different routes. As a family they pride themselves on the quality and
integrity of their estate wines.
The emphasis in the vineyard management is placed on keeping the delicate balance
between land, climate, flora and fauna.
The grapes were harvested at optimum maturity and selected to vinify the healthy and
ripe fruit. Cool fermentation with selected yeasts took place at controlled temperatures
in stainless steel tanks to capture the freshness of the Riesling grapes. The wine was
matured reductively in stainless steel tanks until bottling.
Tasting Notes
Fresh and lively, with delicate peach aromas and floral Riesling notes. Juicy and fruit forward, with ripe apricot flavours beautifully balanced by a refreshing palate through to a clean, off-dry finish.
