This wine is crafted using organic viticulture principles and certified organic by the EU's CPAER (Consejo de la Producción Agraria Ecológica de La Rioja). The Tempranillo grapes come from select growers in Haro, Rioja Alta, who work exclusively with the winery under long-term contracts. The winery collaborates closely with these growers, managing the vineyards and monitoring the growing cycle to ensure the highest fruit quality.
Carlos Serres holds a pivotal place in the history of Rioja winemaking. In 1896, he founded one of the first wineries in Haro, the heart of Rioja and a hub for Spanish wine production. A visionary of his time, Serres played a crucial role in introducing Rioja wines to international markets, pioneering their early exports. By blending traditional French winemaking techniques with local grape varieties, he crafted a Bordeaux-style wine that showcased the region's unique terroir. Today, Bodega Carlos Serres remains family-owned and operated, proudly continuing his legacy of innovation and excellence.

Vinification
Fermented in stainless steel after gentle destemming and pressing. After a brief codd maceration, the juice ferments at a controlled temperature of no more than 26°C for 10 days.
