Prime Time Pear Lager

Something a little different for the cooler months. Prime Time have taken their crisp, award-winning lager and infused it with real British nashi pears, for a fruit beer that stays light and refreshing rather than sweet and heavy.

The pears do the talking here. Every one is hand-picked from a multi-generational family fruit farm in Kent. Also known as Asian pears, nashi are a world away from the soft European pears most of us grew up with. They are crisp and firm with the crunch of an apple, packed with juice, and carry delicate notes of melon, honey and citrus. That character is exactly why they work in a lager. They lend a clean, gently sweet lift without tipping the beer into sugary fruit-cider territory.

The result drinks the way a good lager should. Naturally light and crisp up front, a whisper of pear sweetness through the middle, and a clean, dry finish that leaves you ready for the next sip. Best served cold, straight from the fridge.

It keeps things honest on the numbers too. At 4% ABV, every can is 95 calories with just 1.7g of sugar and 4g of carbs. Brewed gluten free and vegan, so there is very little standing between you and a cold one.
