To help towards finding this out, Skinny Brands recently released statistics on the number of calories in popular brands of beer versus their flagship product, Skinny Lager – the aim being to raise awareness on the number of calories in beer. One of the bottles used for comparison was Desperados.

Below we take a look at how the numbers compare between a bottle of Desperados and a bottle of Skinny Lager.

The numbers don’t lie. With 89 calories per bottle, Skinny Lager has 52% fewer calories than Desperados, which has 184 calories per bottle. Not only this, it also has 84% fewer carbs.
