Palate

Light yet luscious with a juicy mid palate and cleansing zesty finish.

Lifted strawberries and cream with hints of blueberries and ground spice.

Vintage Conditions

It has been noted as one of the best growing seasons in recent years, with a wet winter allowing the vines to produce a healthy canopy, and mild temperatures and periodic rain providing good growing conditions. Very little heat stress was experienced across the growing regions. A cool and dry summer sustained even ripening and allowed viticulturists and winemakers to harvest grapes at their optimal fruit expression.

Winemaking

We utilise a French technique known as Saignée; immediately following crush, the juice is drained from the skins preventing deeper colours and tannins being extracted from the skins. The juice is then clarified and fermented at cool temperatures.
