Product Details

Raisis is part of a fancy trio of wines made from these amazing disease-resistant grapes – proper little superheroes of the vineyard! These grapes are tough as old boots, naturally fighting off pests and nasties without needing all them chemicals winemakers normally chuck about. Typically, winemakers rely on substances like sulphur and copper to protect their vines. While these are allowed in organic farming, sulphur is still a chemical, and copper is a heavy metal that can accumulate in the soil over time. Not ideal, is it?

With climate change making everything harder for vineyards, winemakers must use more treatments to keep their crops alive. But these grapes? They don’t need any of that faff. It keeps the soil pure and the winemaking process lovely and clean. So, you get a wine that’s not only better for the planet but tastes like the vineyard itself – all natural, no mucking about.

Now, organic wine like this isn’t just about tasting good (which it does, by the way – lush!). It’s about feeling good too. You’re not just sipping on something delish; you’re doing your bit for sustainability. And when you’re sitting there with a glass of Raisis White, you’ll feel all light and fancy, not weighed down. It’s the wine that’s as refreshing as it is responsible.

Food pairing recommendations

Raisis White pairs beautifully with lighter dishes and brings out the best in fresh, zesty flavors. We recommend enjoying this one with some seafood, like grilled fish or prawns. It's equally as delicious with light and aromatic Asian dishes like sushi or spring rolls.
