Bucket loads of value at such a good price. A great winemaker with impecable standards has outdone themselves here. Spanish quality and consistency, delivering big on flavour and at a great value price.
It was back in the 1960s that Manule Vazquez set up this winery in the beautiful Galician countryside in north western Spain. The new, state-of-the-art winery is very different from its humble origins but Manule's philosophy of what makes good wine - work, love and common sense - is still very much in evidence.
This red combines the classic Spanish red varieties of Garnacha (60%) and Tempranillo (40%) creating a bright, fruity modern wine. Ripe red cherry fruit and hints of blackberry mingle on the nose, with soft, smooth red berry fruit on the palate.
A crowd-pleasing wine which will be perfect with a pasta dish or a shepherd's pie.
