Inspired by the sights and flavours of Rio de Janeiro, Favela created a lifestyle brand that adopted the independent spirit of its people - a brand defined by freedom, passion, colours and confidence, and above all, an instinct to live outside the rules.

Favela have been partnered with the Favela Foundation since the company was formed and donate a percentage of sales towards their work. 2p for every can / bottle / pint sold. The Favela Foundation was set up in 2017 through the founders’ shared experience of living and working in Rocinha, Brazil’s largest favela. Their aim is to support educational and social welfare projects for the people living in some of Brazil’s marginalised communities. By working along-side local, grassroots projects, Favela helps them access financial support, and create meaningful opportunities for those most in need.
