We are very proud of our small, but stylish Il Casone range. We seek no shortcuts in fashioning wines which are fresh, interesting and bursting with character.

Veneto is a wine region in the northeastern corner of Italy. Many of the vineyards are relatively flat and fertile, so vineyard management is required to manage the yields in order to concentrate the flavours. The vines are planted with a sunny orientation and gentle coastal breezes from the Adriatic Sea help to keep the vines dry and healthy. The Alps help to protect the vineyards from cold, northerly winds. Warm days and cool nights offer the perfect combination to allow slow maturation of the grapes, maintaining beautiful balance between natural acidity and sugar levels. The vines are grown in chalky soils which are valued in viticulture for their excellent drainage. This, combined with the subsoil's ability to store water, provides the vine with a continuity of the right amount of water supply.
