Product Details

Montsablé Pinot Noir is made by the French winemaker, Terres Fidèles, whose wines are inspired by the spirit of where they are made. Terres Fidèles has been crafting wine in the South of France for over two decades and takes pride in its extraordinary wild vineyards that span across various regions. The winemakers’ journey began in the heart of Roussillon, launching with Grenache and Carignan. Today, Terrers Fidèles produce Malbec, Cinsault, Viognier and more, all of which are authentically crafted, small-batch wines of the wilds.

Region

Montsablé Pinot Noir is crafted in the cooler vineyards in the Haute Vallée of Limoux in the South of France. These vineyards have been carefully selected due to their altitude, climate and limestone rich soils which produce outstanding fruit that deliver freshness and great balance. The vineyards of the Haute Vallée are the best for Pinot Noir due to slower ripening and better levels of acidity.

Tasting Notes

Montsablé Pinot Noir is a deep ruby-red dry wine. On the nose, aromas of dark cherry and ripe blackberry entice you in with their depth and richness. The palate is a generous array of red berry fruit flavours, whilst the wine reveals its complexity with its toasty vanilla notes that bring a touch of spice towards the finish.

Serving Suggestions

This well balanced red wine is best served with game dishes like a duck stew.
