What if reducing the alcohol content of a wine could increase its gustatory qualities?
This is the observation of Vincent and François Pugibet in the face of a chronic increase in the alcohol content of wines. They then imagined wines at only 9%, as our grandparents used to drink, but meeting today’s quality requirements.
To do this, they cultivate world-renowned grape varieties harvested at full maturity. Correcting the alcohol will reveal the aromatic potential and increase the freshness.
This marriage of tradition and innovation has given rise to a unique “Plume” vintage that is perfectly suited to the demands of modern life and delights even the most discerning gourmets.
This wine holds only 9% alcohol, exception for a wine of this quality particularly in Languedoc. It is truly a new and unique approach to wine making, based on their pursuit of elegance, smoothness and the pleasure of drinking. With feminine characteristics, these wines are out to re-conquer the tables and are armed with all of the assets necessary to seduce.
Serve chilled at 10°C. This wine is a perfect accompaniment to fish and shellfish, to light summer lunches or just to enjoy a glass in good company!
Tasting Notes
Of a delicate pale yellow colour, this wine expresses refreshing aromas of apple and peaches with light brushstrokes of citrus fruit. The palate is lively and finishes with finesse.
