Region

Encostas do Minho Tinto is produced in the beautiful Vinho Verde area in the north of Portugal, where its grapes are grown in the Caves Campelo vineyard. Caves Campelo was established in 1951, making it one of the oldest and most traditional companies in the Vinho Verde. This wine happens to be particularly popular in the region. As for the iconic Vinho Verde region itself, this region enjoys a cool, maritime climate influenced by the Atlantic Ocean. It’s well-known for its lush, green landscape – the name ‘Vinho Verde’ literally translates to ‘Green Wine’.

Minho tinto

"Really nice wine I am enjoying it. Great to know it has no sugar. You and one company in America I have found disclosing sugar free for diabetics and nervous system sufferers. Unfortunately it’s very expensive and out of reach for most people. Which includes me. I only bought because it was on offer. So I can’t continue yet my condition benefits from sugar free as I feel better in the morning. I still like some red wine at night but after two weeks of sugar free I am hating the prospect of the supermarket wine versus sugar lottery! I appreciate your company being there but it just too much for my budget. Also the packaging is mental for my recycling bin ! Thanks anyway I appreciate having experienced sugar free. Colin."
