Region

Encostas do Minho Tinto is produced in the beautiful Vinho Verde area in the north of Portugal, where its grapes are grown in the Caves Campelo vineyard. Caves Campelo was established in 1951, making it one of the oldest and most traditional companies in the Vinho Verde. This wine happens to be particularly popular in the region. As for the iconic Vinho Verde region itself, this region enjoys a cool, maritime climate influenced by the Atlantic Ocean. It’s well-known for its lush, green landscape – the name ‘Vinho Verde’ literally translates to ‘Green Wine’.
